Every product at Lemonade India can be personalised with your name, initials, dates, logos, or custom text. Because each piece is made to order, there are a few things worth knowing before you place your order.

What we mean by personalisation

When you personalise a product with us, we don't pull it off a shelf. We create it from scratch, specifically for you. Your name gets printed, engraved, embossed, or stamped onto the product, making it one of a kind.

We never use cheap sticker prints or surface-level shortcuts that wear off with use. Most of our personalisation is hand-printed or machine-engraved, and each piece requires time to set, cure, and cool before it's ready to ship. That's why it takes a little longer, because we do it properly.

How long does it take?

Since every order is made to order, personalised products need extra time. Here's a rough guide for production timelines. Working days are Monday to Friday — weekends and bank holidays are excluded.

Making time ≠ shipping time. Shipping is calculated separately based on your location.

Design queries & changes

If your order requires any design clarification from our side, we'll reach out to you. Here's how the process works:

  • Response window:

    Design queries need to be resolved within 3 working days of us reaching out. If we don't hear back after 3 attempts, the order will be marked as closed for no reply. Orders closed for no reply are not eligible for a refund.

  • Design changes:

    Our pricing includes up to 3 minor changes per order. Any additional changes beyond that are charged at ₹999 per change. If you have references, mood boards, or specific design direction in mind, please share them upfront when placing your order or during the initial approval stage — this helps us get it right the first time and avoids revision charges.

  • Production begins only after your approval.

    We won't go into production until you've confirmed the final design. Your making timeline starts from this point.

Double-check before you order

Since every product is made specifically for you, we go into production with exactly what you've entered at checkout. Please take an extra minute to review everything.

  • Check spelling of names, dates, and any custom text — twice.

  • Each product has its own personalisation rules — uppercase or lowercase, character limits, font options, and more. These are clearly mentioned in the product description. Please read them before ordering.

  • For logos, upload high-resolution files (PNG or vector preferred).

  • Changes can only be made within 12 hours of placing your order. After that, production begins and no modifications or cancellations are possible.

    We do not offer design previews as part of the standard process. Your product will be made exactly as per the personalisation details you submit at checkout.

  • Previews are only available after your order is placed and confirmed with an order number. We are unable to share previews before an order is placed.

  • Please allow 24 to 48 hours for our team to prepare and share the preview with you.

  • Your order will be on hold until you confirm the design. The manufacturing timeline begins only after your approval.

Text size & print area

Every product has a fixed personalisation area. The space available for your text or logo is limited to a specific zone on the product.

Depending on the length of your name or text, the font size may be adjusted to fit within this area. A shorter name will naturally appear larger; a longer name will appear smaller. This is standard across all personalised products and is not a defect.

Handmade means unique

Our products are handcrafted and personalised individually. Minor variations in colour, texture, alignment, or finish are natural and honestly, they're part of what makes each piece special. These are not defects. They're character.

Production issues & cancellations

In rare cases, we may encounter an issue during production after a design has been approved — a material problem, a technical limitation, or something that affects the quality of the final product. While we do everything we can to avoid this, if we're unable to fulfil your order to our standard, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund.

We'll always communicate with you if this happens, and wherever possible, offer an alternative solution before cancelling.

Returns & exchanges

Because every personalised item is made from scratch for you, it can't be returned or exchanged. A mug with your best friend's name on it can't exactly go to someone else.

Exceptions: If there's a manufacturing defect or damage during shipping, reach out within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and we'll make it right.

Logos & content rights

When you submit a logo, brand name, or artwork for personalisation, you're confirming that you have the rights to use it. Lemonade India is not liable for any trademark or copyright issues arising from customer-submitted content.

This includes government logos, national emblems, institutional crests, and any logos belonging to regulatory or official authorities. The responsibility for ensuring proper licensing, permissions, and legal clearance for such files lies entirely with the customer. Lemonade India does not verify ownership or licensing of any submitted artwork and will not be held responsible for any misuse.

File formats we accept

During production, our team needs to work with the individual elements of your design for precise placement, sizing, and alignment. This means we need files in formats that allow us to access and adjust your artwork properly.

  • Best format:

    Adobe Illustrator (.ai). This gives our production team the most flexibility to work with your design elements.

  • Also accepted:

    PDF (vector), SVG, and high-resolution PNG files.

  • AI-generated images

    (from tools like DALL·E, Midjourney, etc.) are not compatible with our production process as they lack the editable layers and clean vectors we need.

  • Canva links or Canva exports

    are not usable. Canva files don't provide the format our production team requires to extract and position design elements accurately.

  • Low-resolution images, screenshots, or JPEG files

    may result in blurry or pixelated output and cannot always be used.

Quick questions

Can I change my personalisation after ordering?

Only within 12 hours of placing your order. After that window, production begins and we're unable to modify any details. If you catch a mistake within those 12 hours, reach out via our WhatsApp chat service immediately and we'll do our best to help.

Tip: If you need to make changes, try to reach us before the weekend. Orders placed on Friday evening or over the weekend may move into production by Monday morning, making changes harder to accommodate.

Do you send a preview before making it?

We don't offer design previews as part of the standard process. If you'd like one, please let us know after placing your order. Previews can only be shared once your order is confirmed with an order number, not before. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for our team to prepare the preview. Your order will remain on hold until you approve the design, and the manufacturing timeline begins only after confirmation. For logo-based or corporate orders, proofs may be shared as part of the design approval process.

What if I made a typo?

We produce exactly what's entered at checkout. If you spot a mistake within 12 hours of ordering, message us via our WhatsApp chat service immediately. Beyond that window, we may not be able to help as production would have already started.

Why does personalisation take longer than regular products?

Nothing is pre-made. Every order is created individually — printed, engraved, or embossed specifically for you. We use proper printing and engraving techniques (not stickers or surface prints), and each piece needs time to set and cure before it can be shipped. We'd rather take a few extra days than rush your order or compromise on quality.

Does the delivery date include shipping time?

No. The making timelines on this page and on product pages refer to production time only. Shipping is calculated separately based on your location. Your total delivery time = making time + shipping time.

Why does my name look smaller/bigger than expected?

Each product has a defined print area. The size of your text depends on how many characters you're adding — longer names will appear in a smaller font to fit the space, and shorter names will appear larger. This is standard and varies by product. Check the product description for personalisation specifics.

Can I order just one piece?

Absolutely. No minimum order quantity. One mug, one ribbon roll, one embosser — it's all good.

What if I don't respond to a design query?

If we reach out with a design question and don't hear back within 3 working days (after 3 contact attempts), the order will be marked as closed for no reply. Orders closed for no reply are not eligible for a refund. Please keep an eye on your messages after ordering.

Are design changes free?

Your order includes up to 3 minor design changes at no extra cost. Any additional changes beyond that are charged at ₹999 per change.

What file format should I send my logo in?

Can Lemonade cancel my order?
